This week I will be talking about the Pug. Pugs are small smushy faced dogs. They weigh around 14 to 18 pounds and are around 10 inches tall at the shoulder. The average lifespan for pugs is 12 to 15 years.
Pugs are generally happy, loyal, affectionate, playful dogs. They can be “yappy” and shed a lot, but they are good dogs for small houses or apartments. Because of the way pugs noses are, they can sometimes have breathing problems. They often snore very loudly and can become overheated easily.
On Instagram there is an account of a pug named Doug the Pug. He is very cute and dresses up and makes music videos. Here are a few pictures of him:
