This week I will be talking about the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Corgi’s are very short, small dogs. They are around 10 inches to a foot tall at the shoulder. Corgi’s usually weigh no more than 30 pounds, and live to be 12 to 14 years old. They are very vocal dogs and bark at everything. They are intelligent dogs, but can be stubborn. Corgi’s have a strong urge to herd so they may not be good around children (they might nip them). Corgi’s tend to over-eat and are prone to becoming obese.
